On 9 November 2022, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) published the call for tender “Sentinel surveillance for hepatitis B and C”. A Consortium led by Epiconcept, France, and including the partners from the Croatian Institute of Public Health (CIPH), (Croatia), National Institute of Public Health (NIPH), Romania, and Transmissible (Netherlands) submitted a successful proposal.
Transmissible's responsibility will be to design the training activities for this project. The framework contract for the “Sentinel surveillance for hepatitis B and C” was signed on 14 July 2023 and the first specific contract was signed on 24 October, 2023 and will end by 31 March 2024, a total of just over five months.
